ENVIRONMENT AND SUSTANABILITY MANAGER
Sujata holds a Master's Degree in Environmental Science and works as the Environment and Sustainability Manager at CREASION Nepal. Her prominent assignments at CREASION include the conceptualization of multiple projects of diverse nature in tight deadlines and their successful implementation all over Nepal. She has been actively working on the field of environment and garnered vast experiences through professional undertakings and personal interests in the field of environment and society. In academia, she has explored and researched about air pollution, land encroachment, water-related issues and climate change through institutional and personal endeavor.
FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
Shyam Subedi is the Finance and Administrative Office whose core interest lies in finances and the economy. He has been working in the development sector for more than an decade. He is an alumni of Nepal Mega College where he studies Masters in Business Studies. He is an enthusiastic learner and has a passion in mathematics. Besides, having an interest in the financial sector, he is an adventure lover who loves to hike and do various outdoor activities.
RESEARCH AND KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT OFFICER
Pratik Bajracharya is the Research and Knowledge Management Officer at CREASION. He is responsible for generating research, knowledge and innovation in the field of environment. He is involved in data management, proposal development, and raising resources for the organization. He has contributed to several researches in the field of environment and is the lead author on Waste Pickers Research in Nepal. Prior to joining CREASION, he has experience of working for several organizations including International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD), Swiss contact Nepal, Nepal Energy and Environment Development Service (NEEDS), Department of Environment (DOEnv), and Kathmandu College of Technology (KCT). He holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Science from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. In addition to research, he also has hands on experience in teaching GIS.
PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
Mr. Yunish Ghimire works as a Program Development Officer in CREASION. He holds a Master's degree in Human and Natural Resources Studies from Kathmandu University (KU). He did his undergraduate from Colby-Sawyer College in New Hampshire, USA. Previously, he worked with CESIF as a researcher in the thematic area of 'National Security and Climate Change'. He enjoys writing and has published his articles on different national and international media platforms. He is passionate about climate justice issues as well.
FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
Ms. Sabina Thapa has been working in the development sector for more than a decade in Admin and Finance portfolio. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Studies from Tribhuvan University. She has extensive experience in Finance and Administration working in different INGOs, including UN and USAID-funded projects. She contributes to preparing an action plan and reviewing the work plan in compliance with the policies: Financial management, administrative management, financial reporting, capacity building, coordination and collaboration, monitoring, and evaluation. She is always willing to learn new skills and dedicated to personal and professional growth. She places importance on being flexible and working in any environment to and beyond the expected standard.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH OFFICER
Ram Maya Shrestha has been the Community Outreach Officer since February 2019. She has core interest in building healthy and green communities and works with schools in waste management through Waste Smart Club and strengthening PET bottle recollection on solid waste management in Chitwan. As a post-graduate of Environmental Science specializing in wildlife and has previously working experience as a Thematic Biodiversity Expert at Rural Reconstruction Nepal.
INNOVATION COORDINATOR
Phurpa Sherpa is an environmentalist who holds an M.Sc from Tribhuvan University Nepal. She is currently the Innovation Coordinator in CREASION Nepal. Before joining the team, she worked for Greenhood Nepal (a science-driven conservation organization). She has worked as a program coordinator at GRID Nepal, a communication consultant at Dawa Sherpa Foundation, and an intern at ICIMOD. She was also a recipient of Chandra Gurung Memorial Fellowship Fund, a sponsorship provided to conservationists from Nepal to pursue their higher studies in the conservation-related field, WWF (2017-19), and a Daayitwa Innovation Leader, campaigning for the importance of involving youths in the policy-making process (2017-18). She is an alumni of U.S. Embassy Youth Council Nepal (2019-2021), Asia-Pacific Youth Forum (APYF) 2016, and an active member of BPW (Business Professional Women), National/International. Her interest peaks in speaking her heart out for better social and environmental causes.
COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER
Neeti holds a Master's degree in Gender studies from Lund University, Sweden. She believe in kindness above all. She has been involved with different development organizations with work related to Education, Youth empowerment, and Child Rights. She workes as a Communications Officer at CREASION. Her experiences of studies and work shaped her passion for global development issues and she believes advocacy in any form is one of the most important medium for shedding light on important issues around the world. She aspires to contribute to bringing positive changes in Nepal.
PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNICATIONS ASSOCIATE
Thinley Doma Ghale is the Program Development and Communications Associate at CREASION. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from St. Xavier’s College, Maitighar, Kathmandu. She loves to travel and experience new ideas, places, meet people and learn from them. She believes just like actions, words are just as powerful in expressing one’s thoughts, feelings and emotions. Besides working for the environment, she is an educational enthusiast and loves to work with children and youths. She is also a social media enthusiast who believes that creativity has no limit, and also works for effective communications and building partnerships with organizations for the greater good.
PROGRAM ASSOCIATE
Sushila Shrestha is an early environmental professional with a keen interest in sustainability issues and campaigns. She has prior experience in microbiological research, teaching, and volunteering for environmental/social causes. Due to her passion for the environment, she joined an international master's program in Marine Plastics Abatement at Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand. Her interest lies in learning various strategies, technologies and interventions to abate plastic throughout the plastic supply chain and its end-of-life management in the context of Nepal.
ADMIN AND OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE
Binita Niraula is an Admin and Operation Associate at CREASION. Developing her keen interest in politics, she holds a bachelor's degree in social work from Tribhuvan University. She has completed a number of internships in NGOs while pursuing her academic goals and developing her interpersonal and communication skills. She loves socializing with different people and considers travel to be a fresh method of learning. She has also participated in civic education and awareness campaigns, as she believes that youth are the key to changing certain aspects of society.
LEAD DESIGNER
As a senior graphic designer with over 5 years of experience in the industry, Milan has a track record of creating visually stunning designs that effectively convey a brand's message to its target audience. He has worked with a variety of big companies, including national non-profits, and global retail brands, to produce high-quality marketing materials and campaigns. His portfolio showcases his ability to create cohesive and consistent designs across various mediums, including print, digital, and social media. He is highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite and has a strong foundation in design principles and typography. He is also well-versed in the latest design trends and techniques, and he always looks for ways to push the boundaries and deliver fresh and innovative designs. In addition to his design skills, he is a team player and thrivse in a collaborative environment. He is comfortable working with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure that all project deliverables meet the highest standards. He is excited to bring his skills and experience to new opportunities and help bring a company's vision to life through creative and effective design solutions.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH INTERN
Chiranjivi Yadav works as the Community and Outreach Intern at CREASION Nepal. He holds a bachelor’s degree in BSc Environmental Science from Saptagandaki College. He previously worked as a volunteer for CREASION and entities such as UNDP Nepal, European Union, and Forward Nepal. He was the vice president of CESS club of Saptagandaki College and has participated in programs such as cleaning campaigns, plantation, social awareness, and wild life conservation.
